Last weekend was spend working with fellow horse-logger Barbara Haddrill putting on two one-day courses for those interested in horse logging.  The courses were fully booked and we had a good bunch of people on both days.  They learned about the horses, harness and equipment that we use and had a chance to have a go with Barbara's mare Tyler and with Elza through an obstacle course and also moving some timber down from CAT's woodland.

The following day we worked again for CAT but this time in a woodland nearby bringing some sizeable pieces of timber down to a place where CAT staff could set up their mobile sawmill to convert their sustainable local timber into they structure for a new display.
